SUCCESS OF THE PRESENTATION OF THE PALAU AT IMEX FRANKFURT
As was mentioned last week, the Palau de Congressos attended the IMEX Fair in Frankfurt from the 24th until the 26th of May, this being one of the most outstanding fairs of its type in the CCI ( Congresses, Conventions & Incentives) sector. IMEX brought together over 9,000 professionals from 160 countries at this year’s event, making it one of the most prestigious in the sector.[+]

THE PALAU ATTENDS MITM IN VIGO
The Palau has actively and directly started in the marketing of its space. Because of this, the commercial team has planned to attend several fairs and marketing events all over Spain and in Europe. One of the first has been in Vigo (Spain), MITM 2011.[+]

NEW VIDEO OF THE PALAU DE CONGRESSOS CONVENTION CENTRE
The Palau’s web site now has the new version of the video of the Convention Centre, where you can take a virtual tour of the inside and outside of the facility. The marketing brochure is also included in German, thus completing the ten languages planned.[+]

MEETINGS TOURISM IN MALLORCA ROSE BY 1.7% LAST YEAR
The city received 1,401 meetings with 66,932 participants, and the average daily spend reached 220 euro. This level of attendance meant an increase of 1.7% compared to 2009. This slight recovery happened “because companies need to train, reward and incentivise people, and after one or two years of crisis, they are obliged to do so”, said Marcelino Langa, President of the Mallorca Convention Bureau (MCB).[+]
